I don't think this guy has a Motomower

This guys says he has a Motomower, but from the sound of it he has a Sears painted in JD colors, not even close to a Motomower, what do you guys think? Worse than that he said he had it apart himself!!

Well Buzz, he may be right. I believe that Roper built Moto-Mower tractors for a period of time after Dura, how long they kept the name going I am not sure. Check the link out below. I know its hard to tell from the picture, but it says Moto-Mower on the side of the hood. This tractor strongly resembles the Sears/Roper tractors, as does the other one you posted.

well they did do the moto mower name guys for a little bit,really don't know the whole story on it.But sears/roper used the motomower name I think for a type of mower deck they were running then not a actual type of motomower.That tractor in the pic is definitly a sears/roper brand,I promise you a lot of sears tractors would interchange with that thing not a original moto-mower...KW

an example would be is the little bulldozer magnatrac they used to make was called a magnatac,there was a garden tractor made also called a magnatrac but they were actually referring something about the rearend they put in it,neither one had anything in common .The tractor was called something else (I can't remember now) but had magnatrac on the hood,people automatically called it a magnatrac garden tractor but it really wasn't. KW
