| The hole under the seat jared was for models that had a 2 speed rearend if so equiped.My little yeoman even has the decal that says HI -LO but no shifter there because it's not a 2 speed rearend,just a way to be cost effective and not have to stamp out 2 different kinds of fender pans,KW | |

| on the back of the pan yes,but some had a hole on the front for the smaller mowers thats for a hi-lo shifter mine has the decal but no shifter 2 totally different places. | |
