Well as you guys in the chatbox know ive been tryin to get my old poulan to run. Last night i gorilla glued the plastic broken peice back together, and this morning i reassembeled it and got it running....not good but it was running. So i walk out to one of the dead pines in the yard and yank the rope only to have it to come out in my hand. Back to the workbench and a few cuss words later i had the rope back in. I finally got the pine cut down. I adjusted the low speed adjusment screw and got it to run with no choke or throttle. Still needs some adjustment, but ive got proof that it runs now. Thank the lord for gorilla glue

Ok john, so that was the mess you were cleaning up when I called. Looks good, I like the screwdriver hitch pin idea, at least you can get ahold of it from the seat to unhook.

yea the handle is a handy thing, but its hard on the tractors hitch. It puts an excessive amount of pressure on a very small area. But i can usually find a screwdriver faster than the right size pin
