So apparently noobs aren't allowed to post links and whatnot for a week, so I just spent an hour making a post, I copied it to wordpad. It was pretty fancy, so if anyone wants to see, just wait!

This is my Motomower I acquired for free. They guy said it didn't start, and didn't mow properly anymore. Well I replaced the solenoid, and sharpened the blades, re-installing them right-side-up (duhhhh, no wonder it didn't cut) It still had fresh gas and oil in it, lights work, came with the Dunlop ATV tires on back, Runs amazing and mows amazing. All I have really done was re-do the ignition and charge wiring (it was a mess of jimmy-rigged junk from over the years) I haven't bothered restoring it yet because, well, I use it as my daily mower, and haul my firewood from the woods with it. As far as I can tell the engine was manufactured in 1973, and usually the tractor is from the same year.
Last October when I got it
Amazing condition of the mower deck, now that I've put a few hours and rocks through it, it's showing some holes but a bit of welding fixes all.
The Tecumseh 10HP
Original tags / stickers
The old wiring nightmare with awesome push-button start.
The re-done igniton, proper.
Hauling Christmas wreath brush last fall, no problem with 500lbs hauling where my friend's 4x4 Yamaha had trouble.
As she sits now, about 7 months owning it, tough as nails. Love the MF bucket seat it came with too!
And here's even a video of me hauling some wood over the winter!
If anybody knows more about these tractors, do tell! All I can find is that the Sears Suburban was basically the identical machine, and that some had the 16HP in them as well. My local small engine guy hasn't even heard of this machine so, yeah.

Is there any way you can show how the seat is bolted to the spring? I think that seat might work really good on our sulky. I like the mower by the way. Thanx FB.

My camera is currently out of service so I can't post any pics. But the seat is just bolted straight to the original plate on the spring. Just has 4 holes drilled through the seat to match the plate.

Thanx so much FB. I really like the seat and I'll try and find one for my sulky. The rider needs a back rest

Oh by the way the seat is of a Massey tractor of the same era. My friend had borrowed a tractor and I noticed it had the identical seat. It's like a bucket seat, keeps me on the tractor when I'm in the woods on tipsy trails, much better than a regular ride-on seat!
