rust removal

whats the best way to get rid of rust? i been usin a wire brush on the end of a drill which aint the safest. And i dont own a sand blaster so thats out of the ?

Get yourself a 4 1/2" angle grinder....They are cheap at Harbor Freight etc.....with a wire cup brush. Works a lot better than a drill.....wear eye protection. You can also use it with a disk attachment for flatter areas.
