| There is an ad on Kijiji for a CC 1000....ad says it needs a clutch, but is in good condition otherwise.....no pics supplied and he just says best offer for a price....Turns out its only 5 min or so away.....I emailed for more info, no reply yet......no phone number.....Do you think he will be insulted if I offer $100?..........
I hate when they do this....at least give a guy a bit of a hint what they want for something | |

| I know what your saying. I always ask them what they are thinking on price and most of the time they say I don't know. I hate that. Thats when I offer them 20 bucks. lol |

I think he's clarified the price - $1000.
You may be a bit low, but I'd say that +/-. your probably closer to the real value than he is.
