Springfield in the weeds Empty
PostSubject: Springfield in the weeds   Springfield in the weeds Icon_minitimeFri 14 May 2010, 10:57 pm

A few weeks ago I made a delivery on the "wrong" side of the Mississippi River, otherwise known as the " Arm Pit State" - Illinois, and I spotted this raggedy old piece of iron. I can't imagine anyone would want such a derelict piece of scrap but I guess anything is possible. This thing is parked only four feet off the pavement. I nearly hit it with the company truck while rubber-neckkin to see if anything worth having was sittin around there. I don't like to see good stuff crushed - but when there is nothing good left in the scrap pile, its time to send it to the great beyond! Today I went by there again and had the camera with me so I took this photo. As you can tell from the picture, there seems not to be anything desirable, or of any value, in those weeds.

Casey, What are you interested in? the rusty exhaust pipe, the old bias ply mud grip tire, or the wooden ladder thats been exposed to the elements for the last twenty years.

lol!

Somehow I knew Casey would find something good in that pic! Shocked
