| The N/A version was rated for 185 HP and 360 lb-ft of torque
The Turbo version was rated for 190 HP and 390 lb-ft of torque
The Powerstroke was rated for 210 HP and 425 lb-ft of torque | |

| If you turn up the IP a few flats it makes a sizeable difference. I think they left it set the same for the turbo idi for emmisions reasons......... | |

| mine came stock with 310 hp and 605 ft lbs torque. haven't had a problem towing a tractor yet | |

| Johnny, you knew that was coming, and yes mine has a small turbo with a differant air cleaner system.
So you know some tricks to help me beef it up a bit huh, has to be cheap though. and remember I know nothing about diesels. I just got this one for $1500 with an extra set of brand new tires, load range E so I bought it for hauling rock. | |

| The turbo is the single best upgrade that can be made to these motors. After that an unrestrictive exhaust (strait pipe is good) and some kind of cold air intake. You can also turn the IP up some. If you do make sure you install a pyro if you dont have one yet. If your engine temps get too high you will melt your pistons. | |

| I gotta change my ball joints first, I have done othing to this truck other than U joints and brakes. I would like to add the cab lights and a few other lights. I work with a lot of truck drivers and trucking companies. We load and store anhydrous. What is IP? | |
