tractor pulling with my moto-mowers

My son and I compete in a mostly stock series of garden tractor pulling.

Loaded ATV tires with almost 0 psi air pressure on the 8HP give a nice wide stance:

Sweet! I never got into pulling myself, but they're fun to watch. Do you still have the Moto without the engine? I had both of mine running last week and was pleasantly surprised that they both started and drove with no issues lol!

I still have the one without a motor. Trying to keep it recoverable. I've swapped the transmission from it into the 8HP - it has a couple broken bolts where the draw bar connects. It's in tough shape - the front axle has been broken/welded, foot pegs are bent, the hinge is broken off the hood.


The pulling is fun and cheap - keeping it stock means it's very rare to see anything break.


I'd really like to see a garden tractor show in Eastern Ontario.

hmmm, seem like this might have been a problem with them. mine has the axle BRONZED . it's probably from pulling loooooong tall wheelies down deserted roads. it seems to be holding fine but this winter it's getting ground out and properly welded.
