| Ok i hope i dont start a battle but in my opinion ya cant beat a Gmc or chevy. I worked as a transmission tech for five years before that i worked at a Radiator Shop And ive seldom seen gm products in there. Although so you ford and dodge guys dont get mad Gm does have a weak ling in there 4l60e tran The sun gear and gms fuel injection systems do go out but are easy to fix and the Dexicool antifreeze Sucks! but other then those three problems i love them! | |

Well, as a guy who has owned all...1958 ford, 1954 Chevy a 1947 Chevey and a 1953 Dodge.....All trucks.....They're all great except the dodge. I lean a bit towards the old Chevy's but they're both great rigs. My favorite of all though, and hopefully out of the Ford verses Chevy thing, is my 94 Toyota! I've driven it 10 years this AUgust 1st and put on 204,000 miles without a single repair except the starter relay contacts............Twice! The truck is beat to death, as a firewood hauler and used in my construction business to haul absolutely everything. I even put a tad over 3,000 pounds in it once and drove it nearly 26 miles. Was it scarey? YES. But all the trucks now are essentially good! Justy love the older classics! My generation!

| thats impressive for a yota. My ole rig is over 311,000 miles, and hasnt had any major repair work done to my knowledge. Their was a recycling company that owned it originally and they used it to pull a 5th wheel on a daily basis. After that grandpa bought it and used it as a farm truck, pulling trailers and hauling stuff ya kno. Now i have it, and i probly drive it harder than any of the previous owners, but it doesnt see the extreme use it used to. Mostly I haul firewood with it, along with the occasional tractor and load of scrap iron. Still gets to tug a farm wagon every now and then. In short she's led a hard life and seems to be taking it pretty well. | |

No problems with this one either. It does have the external transmission cooler and trailer hitch. I'm going to get linex done sometime...still haven't yet though. Mine doesn't have carpet either, just the rubber floor mat. It really isn't too highly optioned, but it does have air, cruise, cd player, and power locks with remote entry. Still has the manual 4WD lever instead of the electronic 4WD. I'm not going to renew my Onstar, don't ever use it, nor did I renew the XM radio.
