PostSubject: A glance inside the Tractor House   Sun 07 Jun 2009, 6:07 pm

Alright guys, I know a couple have asked me about the inards of the Tractor House, mostly my shop portion. So the other day I took 4 recent pictures that give a good idea of the insides of the three rooms that have been repaneled and freshened up. Don't mind the mess, I know some places look worse, I try to keep mine looking half decent, hard when I work on more than one tractor at any given time, and not necessarily the same tractor twoce in a week. lol!

Also, I reorganize stuff almost every weekend to get to other machines, so these pictures were taken yesterday, and only a few tractors are the same place. The front room where I have a few other machines squirreled away is not pictured, but it is off the the right of the big room just ahead of the Case. Now the pictures, the main doorway is blocked a little bit to say the least and about 3 to 4 inches of the opening is blocked in the picture by the post, but you can tell I have snagged tractors on the stuff on the porch from time to time, heck, I opened the hoods of those carcuses just to gain wider path. lol!

The garage door opening is 9 foot wide and 7 foot high by the way.

Only about half of what is in the shop portion of the Tractor House is visable in the pictures, for the best viewing a personal tour is required. lol!

Larry, I only take pictures once a month, this was one of those occasions I had the camera in the Tractor House and it looked half organized. lol!

Jared, I had just rearraanged everything after it being out of place to get stuff up the front stairway, so a lot of my tools were put away. As of today the Springfield in the back room that has a front wheel off has been pulled out into the middle of the room where the Gilson was sitting. The Gilson moved to where the Springfield in the middle room sat, and the Springfield that runs went to the front room. The Springfield I pulled out has been half stripped down and now has parts and tool piles all around it, so the place is offically a mess again. lol!

Didn't realize that you couldn't see there was a wheel off that tractor, but it is the one with the grey hood.

That isn't all the engines either, I haven't moved all my stuff out of Dad's shop yet. Those shelves are made of scrapped 5 quarter plywood and those are heavy... duty... phew those were tough to carry over there.
