Hey 616 Simplicity Yeoman

Hey Yall
My name is Jared Olson Im 15 and Im from Southern IL. I just got a 616 Simplicity Yeoman with an 8 hp briggs on it. I don't know much about them since I collect Farmall tractors. So any help I would appriciate it.

Welcome to the forum buddy,not a lot of us right now but a fine group of guys here.It's real nice seeing younger people into the fine hobby of mowers and tractors.It's kinda ironic you join with a yeoman.I bought one of them back in the winter and got it out yesterday and fired it up for the first time.It ran like a top cut my back yard with it.Really strange i'd say to see a guy 6' 4" tall riding a yeoman lol.I think mine is a 616 also but not positive because someone repainted it (horribly I might add).I'll help you all I can not a real difficult machine to work on.Is yours electric start?.Mine has both options electric and also pull start.Don't know if that was a option or they were all pretty much that way.I'll look and find all the info I can and pass it on to you.Don't know how popular they are on the collection list but I love mine it is just so cool again welcome my friend stop in and see us as much as you can I promise you 'll make friends If you want any of your tractors posted on motomow.com just let me know i'll be happy to do that for you ,send pics and info to motomow@mchsi.com KW

Dont worry John. My dad had a murray back in the day and right now my Yeo aint that fine soundin. Dang Murray would be better than this thing right now lol!

Naw man the IDI is better than the powerstroke in my opinion. Has a very unique sound.

Id rather be stroked than Rammed lol!
