| Well, after passing on this sleeve hitch last week because it lacked its linkages (it didn't sell with starting bid of $50), I saw it on there again, same price, with linkages... and wow did I make someone pay for it, I really thought $143 would get it, costs $30 to get it to me, some days I can't win.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160330325079 | |

| When it comes to Case/Ingersoll...there isn't anything cheap. I'm down to my last one....a Case 648 loader tractor & I'll probably let it become someone elses project soon. Super heavy duty & well built....but it's hard to throw the parts at the Case that it needs when I can fix my Horses & Sears for nickles & dimes compared to a Case. I still like to find an early one though....maybe I'm more at ease with the Kohlers than the Onans too. | |

| I like anything that says Case on it, doesn't matter the vintage on a Case tractor to me, just as long as the name is their, kind of a personal deal for me though, I mean who wouldn't want to have a tractor that he can say, "I had to buy it because it had my name on it." But thre parts, jeez those are pricey... I'm having a hard time thinking about spending $200 for a sleeve hitch when I could use a few other parts first, such as good headlights, a new head gasket, and probably not a bad idea to change the drive oil and the rear end oil. Engine oil is fine, the previous owner did that within last couple months, so it's nice and clean, and I topped it off the other day. | |

WOW KW, how long would it take you to do up a Kenworth? Just imagine how much stuff you can move, you could probably move your house a little to make room for the truck.

| New development.. I got a second chance offer from the seller, said he has another.. I replied and he sent a picture.. it looks to be in good condition, usual rust, but nothing serious.. it comes with all the linkages too.... help me out guys, is it worth it for about $175 with shipping.. I wish the other one I am seeing on ebay ended sooner than 5 days.. I don't have time to wait for it.. help me think guys.. I hate to spend $175, but I keep losing because they sell in that range consistantly... | |

| John, I am afraid of that, but I think I need to hold off because the Case needs a half a dozen things now.... errr
The list: 1. Head gasket 2. Carbon buildup cleaned out 3. New spark plug 4. Ammeter glued back together 5. Two new rubber motor mounts 6. Dipstick O-ring 7. Parking/E-brake needs to be fixed... 8. I still have to get a pair of headlights
I know those are all minor but they added up quick I tell ya... when I fix those things I will get a sleeve hitch... til then the Case will do some sitting because it has gotten harder to start as of lately...
