Well, after 3 weeks or so of downtime, the Case came back to life again today. Most of you know, this tractor had a serious leak on the hydraulic brake unit due to o-rings that were completely shot. I ordered a new set of o-rings from Salem Power Equipment, and to my surprise they were incorrect. Well, Brian did some digging and found the correct ones and sent them too me. I received them today and the first thing I did was go out and start putting it back together when I got home. Now its perfect, with no leaks at all. Now I just need to flush the system and put fresh oil in, as well as change the engine oil. Here's an updated pic from today. I also took some video to, but Youtube crapped out during the upload so it'll have to wait 'til tomorrow.

Good deal Evan, now both our Cases are on the move again.
My Case decided to mess with my head today so I had my doubts, but I did get it running... next on the list for mine will have to be a head gasket, I see fuel air mixture coming out around 2 head bolts!!

So your new throttle is working well? Yeah sounds like a new head gasket is in order. But, look at the bright side, this will give you a chance to clean up all of the carbon buildup under there. I'm still trying to get used to the hydraulic drive on this thing!

Yes Evan, my thought exactly on the carbon buildup. This week is bad to do it cause I don't have a new gasket and a local tractor show is on Saturday, then next week is finals week, so looks like sometime this May I will get it fixed, but it does run, the poofs are only at startup.
Ya, the hydraulic drive is way different than anything I've ever driven, lets just say it takes luck to miss a pitcher pump by inches when you move the lever the wrong way.

I know I keep saying it evan but man I really do like that old case,it outlooks the newer ones 10 to 1.The rounded style hood with the big headlights just does it for me,not to mention the awesome chrome eagle in the center. If I can ever get rid of some of my stuff I think i 'm going to be looking for one of those eagledoer's LOL.

What KW said The older ones sure look cool. I hope to find a 190 or 195 in the future to add to my collection...no big rush though.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I was able to get my video uploaded tonight if anyone is interested in watching it run and drive. It smokes some, mostly when you throttle it up, but other than that its running pretty good, needs a new muffler though. I would at least like to get the sheet metal painted on this thing sometime in the very near future, and get rid of that hideous yellow paint. Oh, Larry, I did find a source for Old Abe emblems, I believe you said that you needed one...I know I posted it somewhere on the forum...didn't know if you saw it or not. If not, let me know and I'll give you the link.

I think I found one but still waiting to hear back so if you could post the link that would be great. Did you find the paint for it yet??

Sounds good, also looks like you are getting used to moving the stick. A good rule of thumb I learned is don't aim it any direction you dont want to go full speed ahead in, that way it is harder to get in a bind where you have to miss objects by inches...
