| Hi all, Well for those who were in the chat room the other night I broke the news on what kind of tractor I was buying. Today I went and picked it up. It's a '66 Case 150. Overall, it runs pretty good, with an occasional puff of smoke from the Kohler K241. It definitely will need to be repainted as someone painted the sheet metal in the past with a much yellower color than original. The main problem with it is the hydraulic system has a leak so it is not able to go up hills. Here are some pictures: (BTW, that is my new truck in the background.) I also have the headlights and beauty rings that go around them...they are sitting in the shopping bag in the far left on the picture. I don't know how well you can see it in the pics, but the muffler also needs some help. Also, the belt from the tractor to the deck is currently not on, and the deck has a couple rust holes. Here is where it is leaking while the engine is running. The seller said someone put new o-rings in it, but they were not sized correctly. Well thats all for now...any tips on getting this girl back into shape would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! | |

| Evan looks like its in nice shape if you don't have a manual you can download it for free and get the correct parts. I think you are going to be happy with that tractor. http://www.ingersolltractors.com/ click here and got to illustrated parts list and scroll down to your tractor. Good luck and keep us posted... | |

| Thanks for the compliments guys! I hope to turn this one into a nice machine. I decided to go ahead and install the headlights tonight after dinner. I didn't wire them up but at least they are not laying around where they could easily get broken anymore. | |

| That looks good Evan, you need to find an emblem now. It never fails, the more you put together the less you want to take it apart. I started taking it apart first, then figure out how to put it back together later. In all seriousness, I have projects lined up for years to come, and I'm fine with buying more projects, as long as they run. | |

Tracktor, I just sent you a PM with what I have found out so far on the emblems. BTW, do you know what model # the mower deck is on my tractor? Do you have any mower decks for your Case tractors? Now comeon Buzz, I wouldn't bid against a fellow Moto-Messenger!

| Since ebay started hiding the bidder names it is easier to bid against someone you know without knowing it.... | |

Very true indeed Casey... Man i'd bet there has to be someone out there making repro parts someone would be smart to if they did,I'll keep my eye out guys i bet one will turn up,get the case in gear evan and bring it to the rodeo KW, I think there are at least some repro parts out there. I don't know what all is available. Luckily this tractor is in pretty decent shape and really doesn't need anything major, except for getting that leaky hydraulic brake fixed. It sure would be nice to bring it to the rodeo! I'm hoping to do at least one out-of-town tractor show this summer, just haven't decided where to go yet.

| Well I spent some time working on the Case this weekend. My front tire kept going flat, so I bought a tube and fixed that yesterday. All 4 of my tractors still have their original tires, and this tractors tires are in the worst shape of them all, but I don't plan on replacing them anytime soon. Since I got the tire fixed yesterday, I figured I'd dig into the hydraulic leak today. I pulled the spool out of the hydraulic brake unit and found the o-rings to be in bad shape. The P.O. had someone else look into this, and I believe they replaced the bottom o-rings, but most likely did not use the correct size. So here are some progress pics from today: The area thats covered by the towel is where the leak was coming from. Here you can see the worst spot of the mower deck directly behind the Serial number tag. Here is the spool that goes inside the hydraulic brake valve. If you look at my initial post I have a picture of the valve itself. And Buzz, this last pic is for you. This is the original transaxle to my Moto-Mower. | |

Well I don't have the right o-rings yet, but I'm working on that lol. As soon as I get this fixed I'll flush the system and put fresh oil in, as well as change the engine oil. Hows the 190 coming along?

Well you and buzz are both wrong lol. What you see in the pic is not the hubs, but the axle trumpets. It too has the standard 3 bolt hubs like all the other moto's i've seen. I know I have the original hubs somewhere in that mess lol. And yes buzz, I did win those parts! Now I just gotta find time to pick them up.

LOL! I wondered about that. Yeah KW, all of the Moto-Mower GT's built by Dura Corp I have seen have 3 bolt hubs. I just picked up another transaxle and probably like half a tractor in central Oh on ebay. Now I just have to find time to pick it up lol. I really want to get my Moto as well as my Case done soon.
