I need to slow down with the buying. I have a hard time turning down a good deal. The guy I bought this from want to trade me the AC that I was going to sell for $25.00 for a bunch of attachments for the panzer. On the Power King. If I bring it home, I will probably clean it up. fix the carb leak tune it up and sell it.

yea i use to say that kent, the power kings are pretty cool you get it running good you'll probably want to keep it,those things are just nice tractors and can do lot of things,i've pushed gravel/dirt with mine pulled and hauled engines with it pulled bushes and small tree's with it,they are just a horse man it';s hard to believe what they will do with a single cylinder engine on them. The bantam, power king and panzer have my vote all the rest would be sellers of course you may want a wheel horse in your collection most guy';s do nothing wrong with that either...

I like it!! keep pics coming throughout the teardown and build! I think the powerking will surprise you if you haven't had one before they are so much stronger than people believe.

I bought this as a non running tractor. The guy said it ran when he parked it. And he couldn't get it to run when he pulled it out of the barn. I just went out and checked the fuel tank. I was going to drain it and put fresh gas in it. It was dry so I put in some fuel and sea foam. It started on the first pull. It smokes when I put a load on the motor. But it ran good. No smoke when just running and not moving.

Is it black smoke?? or blue if its black just running rich and the seafoam clearing it out !! if its blue then maybe the rings are a little worn.

you could get lucky kent do a oil change right away and run it for a while it needs to be ran to see where your at.Drive it around some, just make sure your fluids are in it and nothing has water in it.I would not buy a thing until you get a chance to check it out really good.I never even think of rebuilds or parts unless they need it.

in my opinion gas is the main problem for the real old engines it burns hot and the old engines run ok but i think it';s hard on them where they are worn anyways.
