| Looks pretty sharp. Was their anything wrong with the teccy or did you just feel like upgrading? | |

| That tractor is a 1962. In 1962 they made 3 different models, a 502 which had a pull start 5.5 h.p. Lauson engine, a 552 which had a 5.5 h.p. Lauson with electric start, and a 702 which had a 7 h.p.Kohler with electric start. All chassis and sheet metal were identical on the three. The serial number was located on the gear shift pattern decal which I had reproduced with the same numbers. On the belt guard decal I had it changed from 502 to 702. Nothing was wrong with the Teccy it was just a upgrade and I didn't like the pull start. I hope I answered all your questions. These numbers are gettin real confusing. | |

| Yea im not a big fan of the pull start either. They are ok when the recoil works good, and the engine starts on the first or second pull. After that it gets real old FAST Electric is good right up till the battery dies Id say the best is having both, but hey beggars cant be choosers | |

| My Suburban 550 has the best of both. An electric start with a pull start backup. | |

| Thats what id like to have on the ole murray, but cant really justify putting any money besides gas and oil into it right now. Ill just put up with the crappy recoil for now i guess until i happen across a better one. | |

| Good eye Johnny, yes it's in a house but not the one I live in. I was fortunate when I bought the house I live in, the one next door came with the deal. I do all the assembly work there and store the two trailer queens in there. A nice warm place to work and storage for them on the cold winter days. | |
