Why hell my swisher ride king will mow 4' deep grass standing in 5 foot of water and thats with a dull set of blades.

You guy's just gave me a idea. How about we post videos of ourselves with out prize mowers doing some real mowing on you tube. I was in arm pit deep grass for about an hour with the cub last week and never thought of it then, but I havent mowed the side yard for a couple weeks and maybe I can video some high speed passes in da grass.

My Gravely smokes a little when I mow the heavy stuff and I'm afraid IF I post a vid it will put out a very small puff of smoke and someone on here MIGHT make fun of it.

just call it bad gas from eating too much good grass
the horse goes a bit blue when winding it up to rpm. it cleans out so it might be a little bit of a carb problem. runs perfect otherwise.
the stack will turn red near the bottom when mowing heavy grass

Is it a 310 or a 312?
And do you know what year it is??? It must be a fairly early model as I see it still has the Kohler K instead of the Magnum.

yeah it's a 312 however i have no idea what year as the tags were all removed way before i bought it.

My dad has a 312, but its newer than your yeller one! He bought it new in spring '97 and it sure has been a good machine. He runs a 48" deck on it.
