I have a MF 10 with Varidrive, so it has the 2 drive belts......Just wondering if I should get new belts.....A couple of weeks ago, I got the tractor out and the belts seemed to slip going uphill......As the tractor and belts warmed up it got better and seems OK now......Yesterday, I took the cover off and the belts look kind of sloppy on there.......I am not sure how tight or loose they should be.....Called MF and its about $75 for new ones.......Opinions?

Run her til she won't go no more and then go to an auto parts store and spend about $30 on new ones

I just picked up my MF10 last wek and had the same thing the belts were loose and sloppy but after running for a while and using the variator plus a little lube they are working great now. I think it just needs to free itself up little after sitting!
