| Hi all I found this site looking for info on my moto-mower I live in connecticut. I was looking to see if anyone could tell me what year it is? the model is 6008 type 101 ser #k10427...
I was told by the guy i bought it from it was a 1969 but he was not sure. it has a kohler 8 hp
motor that runs like a champ. any help would be much appreciated thanks doug |

| Hi Doug, and welcome to the forum! Glad to see more and more Moto-Mower owners showing up. I just double checked my Moto-Mower parts manual, and it is telling me your tractor was built in 1965. One other way to check would be to get the serial # off of the engine if the tag is still there. On my 8 hp Kohler K-181, the tag is located on top of the engine. The serial # should start with an A, indicating the engine was also built in 1965. The spec # should be 30112A. Do you have any pictures of your tractor? Do you have any attachments for it? Here are my 2 Moto-Mower's, a 1966 6024 (right), and a 1967 6025 (left). Both have 42" mower decks and 42" snow blades. They both were running good, but the one has a bad fuel pump currently, and the other one needs a good tuneup.  |

| hi Evan , thanks for your help yes the tag is still there it says model# k1819 ser # 949075
and spec # 301120 its a little tough to read . i went out to the garage and took some pics and will try to post them now, i got it from a friend of mine for 100 dollars running with a hydraulic plow set up 3 years ago..i have used it around the house to push leaf piles we have a lot of leaves around here i blow them with a leaf blower into piles and push them into the woods.it came with wheel weights and i also have a small trailer that i pull with it. i would love to find an orig mower deck for it i will restore this tractor over the winter thanks again for your help doug |

| hi evan i sent you a reg email with the pics i hope you get them 12 of em, you can see some good close ups of the hyd setup. let me know if you need any different views i also contacted the guy who sold me the tractor to see if he still had the orig deck. he said he scrapped it ...!! aughhh doug |

Thanks Doug...got the email. All I can say is nice tractor! 
Too bad about the deck though....I started a new thread with all the pics in the general discussion section of the forum. |
