Been antique tractor pulling since 1999. I still own 1 tractor, an Oliver 88 which is in the process of reassembly. I also pull a Wheelhorse Ranger 12 in the 1050# stock garden tractor class. Other tractors, engine's, and projects I have are Cub Cadet model 1000 used for yard work and plowing snow, another Cub 1000 puller in progress with Case ...

Figure I should say hello - now that I've made a couple posts.

You can see in my avatar, that I have a 6HP Moto-mower - model 6020.

After getting this one, I found a couple more (1.5?). An 8HP and one that is missing the motor.

When these came home, my wife commented that they are starting to breed - hence the name.

I've made fixing up these mowers father-son (age 10) quality time. He loves to help and uses them to ride around the yard (I don't have to take the garbage to ...

Hey guys, got a newbie in Broome Co, NY. I am currently infected with the Cubcadetitus virus which I am told is incurable. I have found a Springfield 36 that I am thinking about picking up. It looks to be in decent condition although it is lacking the engine but has a snowblower and mower deck. What engine should be in it ? If I get it would anyone here be interested in the snowblower ? I'd sell it to recoup some of the cost to invest into a restore.

Thanks guys

Hi all, newbie here. I followed Nathan Werneburg's project log thread over here from MTF. What a talented guy. Sorry, to hear he's having troubles.

I used to love messing around with old tractors and mowers. The old legs give me a lot of trouble these days, though so, I'l just sit back and enjoy your projects.

I've been tinkering with these things for decades so, maybe, now and then, I can offer some advice.

Thanks to Johnboggs21 and wvbuzzmaster for the welcome.

I am Casey and I operate Moto-Messenger, I also go to college full time and have a part-time job.

I am a fair leader, and a great follower, so don't expect huge regulations like some forums.

Besides, as much control as I have over this forum, Ken (Motomow) picks the rules, which can be found on the front page of www.motomow.com. Don't worry, they don't take long to read.

Some might think I have a full plate, but I don't because I finished ...

Hi everyone!

My name is Evan and I'm from PA, hence my user name Evan(PA).

I have 3 GT's: a Bolens, a Moto-Mower, and my newest acquisition, a Toro.

The Bolens and the Toro both run great and only need a little TLC to be in great working order.

The Moto-Mower is my project tractor which I want to try to have finished by summer.

Pics can be seen on motomow's site.

Thanks for the invite to a great forum!
